200,000+ Downloads: Urban Fatburner Now Comes With a Ramadhan Version
If you like games and own a Nokia handset, chances are, you probably have Urban Fatburner on your phone.
Since its launch in February 2011, Indonesia-based mobile developer firm, Agate Studio, told us that the game has been downloaded more than 200,000 times and is highly popular in countries like Australia, Indonesia, Italy, Turkey, India, and South Africa.
The gameplay is simple – All the users have to do is to navigate his or her way through while trying to run as far as possible. The more distance you clock in, the more points you get. Nikki Dibya Wardhana, the lead designer of Urban Fatburner explained that the game was built simple to ensure that gamers are able to have fun with just a single button.
With its initial success, the Agate team has recently launched a Ramadhan version – The Urban Fatburner Ramadhan Rush (OVI store download page).

Urban Fatburner Ramadhan Rush is similar to the original version but with a more customized Ramadhan atmosphere. The running dude now wears Moslem clothing and is running till fast-break time. Instead of burgers, you will see local food like ketupat.
Shieny Aprilia, Agate Studio’s Chief of Operating Officer explained:
“Urban Fatburner Ramadhan Rush is our way to thank our fans. As Indonesians, we found that Ramadhan is very familiar to us. And Indonesia houses many of our users. We designed this special version to thank them.”
Agate is also one of the 12 developer partners announced at the launch of mig33’s recent developer program.
