    According to the study, it was found that almost 50% of the people surveyed are likely to purchase from a brand if they were connected on Twitter. On the other hand, 4 out of 10 revealed that Facebook is a good channel to gain information about companies and their products.

    Running through the statistics, it seems that Twitter is a more favorable business social tool. A higher proportion of people are more receptive to brands on Twitter than on Facebook, though I do admit that this isn’t an apple-to-apple comparison.
