- Singapore said it has plans to create up to 10,000 tech industry jobs over the next three years as it pushes to become a global hub for the sector, Reuters reported.
- A new government office called Digital Industry Singapore will lead the initiative, which will see participation from existing public bodies to attract investment from foreign tech firms.
- The new office also said it will aid companies in the ride-hailing, ecommerce, fintech, cybersecurity, and AI spaces.
