Singapore crypto exchange Coinstore enters India
The Singapore-based company has launched its web and mobile application for Indian users.
In a statement, the firm said it has invested US$20 million into its expansion in the country. It also plans to set up offices in several cities, such as Bangalore, Delhi, and Mumbai, as well as hire 100 employees to support its operations in the country.
Additionally, Coinstore said it will offer copy trading features to its Indian users, where users can follow the activities of other successful traders to make strategic investment moves.
Investment app Groww mulls expansion into neobanking
Groww is reportedly set to combine its banking service with its current offerings, such as stock trading and mutual fund purchase.
The company will also supposedly plan to expand into lending, with a long-term vision to become an all-in-one platform for banking and investment.
The startup just entered the unicorn club in April, after a US$83 million series D funding round led by Tiger Global.
Sequoia-backed Toplyne to raise fresh funds from Tiger Global
The software-as-a-service company, which helps sales teams convert their free users into paying customers, is reportedly in talks to raise up to US$20 million that may value the firm at US$70 million.
