Golden Gate leads $1.5m funding of Vietnamese investment app
Tititada, a Vietnam-based investment app, has raised US$1.5 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Golden Gate Ventures. The company said that the fundraise marks the largest pre-seed investment for a Vietnamese fintech startup.

Founded earlier this year, Tititada enables users to invest in fractional shares of local public companies for 10,000 dong (around US$0.4). The name comes from the local proverb “Tích tiểu thành đại,” which refers to the process of accumulating small amounts that eventually grow big.
The company was established by Giang Nguyen, who previously served as the chief investment officer of Vietnamese investment company Sovico Group and a director of local VC firm VinaCapital.
Tititada plans to ride the wave of young retail investors in the market. Citing an InfoQ Vietnam survey, the company noted that more than 70% of individual investors in the country are below the age of 30.
“We are igniting a mindset change to help Vietnamese invest in themselves, in their future. So Tititada is designed to help them to plan according to their life stage and life goals,” Nguyen said in a statement.
