Luxury travel deals site The Luxe Nomad gets funding worth $700,000

Singapore-based luxury travel startup The Luxe Nomad has secured yet another funding round to boost its growth. Today’s sum is an exact S$888,232 (that’s $700,000), led by Singapore’s Innosight Ventures, along with Japan’s Zipan Enterprise Network and some silent investors.

The invitation-only luxury travel deals launched in June 2012, replete with immediate funding from Tigris Capital and Spring Seeds Capital.

The funds will be used, the The Luxe Nomad teams says, to support its regional expansion plans, but no countries have yet been selected.

The Luxe Nomad crew revealed today that the exclusive travel site has seen an average 34 percent growth on monthly revenue within the last ten months, and has tripled its inventory with over 200 partnering hotels and resorts across Asia and Europe.

The startup’s founder is model turned entrepreneur Stephanie Chai. She summed up the first year of operations as a success, producing a “lean and cohesive business.” The Luxe Nomad is up against similarly curated travel sites such as ImpulseFlyer.
