Temasek, Singapore’s state investment firm, is setting up new groups to explore opportunities in artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies. Temasek is creating “experimental pods” to focus on the two areas, which it sees as long-term trends impacting multiple industries and geographies.
The arm is also creating a new strategic initiatives unit, seeking greater agility for opportunistic deals requiring fast turnaround and senior-level assessment.
