YC’s Sam Altman announced YC Fellowship which basically is a lite version of the typical winter and summer YC program. TL;DR:
- YC Fellows will receive $12,000 per team as a grant. No equity taken
- Gain access to advice from the YC community
- Unlike companies that YC funds, YC Fellows won’t have to move to the Bay Area
- Submit application online by 8 pm PT on July 27
Sounds like a good deal since you don’t need to give up equity. 🙂
