From explorers to entrepreneurs, learn from these CEO’s at our upcoming Manila meetup

Mabuhay, Philippines! This quarter, we take delight in giving a unique collaborative talk for the startup community in Manila. The TIA City Chapter Team has formulated a panel discussion about “Explorers to Entrepreneurs : Successful Startup Stories” with founders of Eurekloud, ServeHappy Jobs and Medical Tourism Philippines.

The chosen speakers will be up for the panel discussion:

Assistant Secretary Ana Marie Rafael-Banaag – Ana Marie is a lawyer that currently works in the Malacañang as the Communications Assistant Secretary for Operations. She has dedicated her life to public service from being the former mayor of Natonin to being a graft investigator at the Office of the Ombudsman, and now a part of the Presidential Communications Group.

Audrey Tanco-Uy – Audrey, a Mansmith Young Market Masters Awardee for 2017, is the CEO and Founder of ServeHappy Jobs and currently the Managing Director for Bizu Catering Studio. Bizu Catering Studio is a family-owned restaurant that continually transcends Filipino grace and finesse to French and European culinary tradition while ServeHappy Jobs is an online jobs marketplace catered to helping people in the hospitality sector to find jobs through social media. She also won Seedstars Manila 2017 and Techtonic 2017 for ServeHappy Jobs.

Brian Cu – Brian is currently the Country Head of Grab Philippines and formerly co-founded Go Jek indonesia and ZALORA Philippines. Grab is the leading ride-hailing app in Southeast Asia that offers services like GrabCar, GrabTaxi, and GrabExpress. Similar to Grab, Go Jek Indonesia is a mobile app that provides a range of services like transportation, food delivery, payment, and logistics. Meanwhile, ZALORA Philippines is an online fashion marketplace that features a wide variety of different brands and products.

Diego Jose Ramos – Diego is the Founder and CEO of Medical Tourism Philippines and the Co-Founder for Horsepower Services, as well as the Philippine Partner for Harper and Hill Singapore, a resource process outsourcing (RPO) and consultancy firm. Medical Tourism Philippines lets tourists look up for healthcare institutions and medical professionals while Horsepower.ph, winner for Tech in Asia Jakarta Arena Pitch Battle in 2016, is an online platform dedicated for solo entrepreneurs and MSME enterprises to provide solutions for their financing, account and payment needs.

VJ Africa – VJ is currently the Managing Director of Eurekloud and CEO of Product I|O. Eurekloud is an accelerator that provides its startups with financial investment, back office infrastructure, and business mentorship, while Product I|O is the Micro SME’s retail solution to track sales and manage inventory, anytime, anywhere, online or offline.
