We are from ShopBack, and we’d love to give you some money. Ask us Anything!
Hey TIA Community!

We are Joel, Henry and Josephine from ShopBack, and we are a team of 50 Santa Clauses with compulsive giving disorders, dedicated to squeezing our bellies full of jelly down countless Wi-Fi routers to present cash to more than 150,000 shoppers all year round. Ho, ho, ho!
Yup, you heard us right. We give money (yes, real cash!) to our shoppers as Cashback when they shop through us, reaching over 500 merchant partners including Taobao, ZALORA, Groupon, Lazada and RedMart.
Our investors have parked a total of USD1.1 million seed funding with us, so that we can bring the season of giving to more shoppers in the region faster than a reindeer sleigh ride.
We love ShopBack as we revel in driving traffic to online stores and growing the ecommerce retail sphere. Day in, day out, we do everything and anything that gets things moving while keeping a watchful eye on the bigger picture. For us, every day is a new (brand) day.

Here’s a bit more about us:
Joel is a Co-Founder of ShopBack, and he is in-charge of bringing aboard merchant partners. He just got Taobao in the bag, making us the Internet giant’s first Cashback partner in the Southeast Asia.
Henry is also a Co-Founder of ShopBack, and he takes the reins on talent search – pursuing great people to invest in us, and great people to join us in the mission of giving out cash.
Josephine is the Country Head of ShopBack in Singapore, and she sets the direction for all departments here. She looks at the KPI and frets about it everyday.
Ask us anything from…

- The one-year old (and counting) journey of ShopBack
- Life in a start-up
