I’m Ming, co-founder & CEO of Netccentric. AMA!

Hi TIA Community,

My name is Cheo Ming Shen, and together with my business partner, Timothy Tiah, we co-founded Netccentric, an integrated social media solutions innovator, in 2006.

The company we are most known for is Nuffnang. Nuffnang is the world’s leading blog advertising community with over a million blogs in our network.

Netccentric is more than just Nuffnang though, and today, we have 6 Distinct businesses that deal with the entire spectrum of social media. They are:

• Nuffnang –  Blog Advertising Community
• ChurpChurp – Social Media Influencers Community
• Reelity.TV – Social Video Specialists
• Dayre – Mobile Blogging App
• Sashimi – Social Media Agency
• Ripplewerkz – Digital Media Production House

Tim and I bootstrapped the company with exactly $65,800 SGD in 2006, and we were fortunate not to need any external funding (From VCs, Banks, or Friends/Family), till we IPO’d on the ASX in June 2015. We raised $12.5 million AUD, on a market capitalisation of $50 million AUD. And today, we are working on using those funds to take our company to the next level.
