I’m Markus Bihler, CEO and co-founder of HappyFresh. Ask me anything!

Hi TIA Community,

I am Markus Bihler, Co-Founder and CEO of HappyFresh. I am currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia where I run HappyFresh, an online grocery & foodtech company that has presence across 5 countries in Southeast Asia including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan and the Philippines. I live and manage my business out of my suitcase so that I get to know each market properly.

Prior to entering the online grocery world, I was with a Germany-based online car tyre retailer called Triendo (today, it is part of the Frankfurt-listed Delticom AG). I was also a private equity investor with Blackstone and EQT Partners and a consultant with BCG(Boston Consulting Group).

In my free time, I enjoy playing outdoor sports, mountaineering and exploring the limits of life.
