We have come a long way since the beginning of the Tech in Asia community and couldn’t have made it this far without you, the Tech in Asia Community. We’re thankful for the crucial role you play in fulfilling our mission to build and serve Asia’s startup ecosystem.

Moving forward, we’re going to need your help to build our next phase of the community: Tech in Asia City Chapters.

City Chapters

With the city chapters, Tech in Asia is bringing our initiatives to cities around the region to solve the pain points of each ecosystem. Built for the community, by the community, this cannot be made possible without the help of local community builders and partners in each city.

Together with awesome chapter leads, we have run initiatives in six cities so far – Bandung, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, and Tangerang. And we are not intending to stop there.

Tech in Asia Meetup

Much like what we have done in Singapore, the city chapter meetups come in the form of keynotes, panels or roundtable closed discussions. The content topics for meetups are chosen carefully by our chapter leads and us, with imminent trend based topics to serve the local ecosystem best.

Chapter Leads & Chapter Committees

The City Chapters initiative is built for the community, by the community. We cannot build each city alone without your help. Building a chapter committee comprising of thought leaders and driven individuals within the local ecosystem, with a chapter lead at the helm – helps achieve that objective.

This committee, in turn, spearheads city chapter operations, including the runnings of quarterly chapter meetups with valuable content that gives back to the ecosystem. Committee members will also act as the local ecosystem’s “go-to” touchpoint, facilitating connections between and within the city chapter network.
