To parents (or soon to be) who happen to be engineers or holding technology adjacent roles, science and technology should not all be about masculinity.
Let there be diversity in the engineering space – let there be women. Let there be creation of better products that takes into account myriad backgrounds and experiences everyone has to offer.
But that doesn’t mean we have to forgo loving all things pink and/or depriving your precious daughters of what it’s like to play with barbie. We shouldn’t restrict little girls into a certain childhood of what an engineer should be like.
