Animoca ups stake in Kikitrade to accelerate GameFi, NFT adoption
Animoca Brands, a Hong Kong-based mobile gaming and blockchain unicorn, has become the second-largest shareholder in Kikitrade.

Kikitrade, a cryptocurrency social investment platform, has plans to widen its role in the decentralized blockchain gaming (GameFi) and non-fungible token (NFT) markets.
The firm’s in-app community provides a platform for blockchain gamers, investors, and traders to connect while serving as a bridge between GameFi and the centralized finance world.
Under their tie-up, Kikitrade and Animoca Brands will promote newly launched and upcoming GameFi projects by providing financial infrastructure to players. Kikitrade will also establish a GameFi studio to accelerate the development of the crypto-based markets.

Blockchain games like Axie Infinity, NBA Top Shot, and The Sandbox have quickly become top applications of blockchain tech with powerful adoption, Kikitrade said in a statement.
