In brief: Swiggy launches product delivery in India

• India’s online food-delivery startup Swiggy now offers on-demand product deliveries with the launch of its newest service – Swiggy Stores.
• The service, which will be part of the startup’s existing mobile app, will deliver products from offline stores across various categories like fruits and vegetables, baby care, health and supplements, and pet care within an hour.
• It is currently being piloted in Gurugram.
