Investors, including Steadview Capital, Paramark Ventures, Jungle Ventures, and Sequoia Capital India, also took part.

Founded in 2019, Leap offers end-to-end services for students pursuing international education and careers. Its offerings include international test preparation for exams like the IELTS, TOEFL, and SAT. It also offers admissions and visa counselling as well as international student loans, international bank accounts, credit cards, and money remittance services.

The company said it has helped over 175,000 students to study abroad in the past 12 months.

“Over the next couple of years, more than five million students are expected to cross an international border to fulfill their global dreams,” said Vaibhav Singh, co-founder of Leap. He added that with the new funding round, Leap aims to help more people access quality global education.

The startup has over 750 global university partners and entered the Middle East earlier this year.
