Hello readers,
This week was a fairly big one for the Asian startup scene – over US$2.2 billion in funding was raised across the region.
With such large amounts of money being put into fledgling businesses every week, I often find myself wondering where these companies will be in five or 10 years’ time. Perhaps they’ll be en route to a public listing?
For those closer to an exit in their startup journey, we recently released a new Tech in Asia Originals series to walk them through the process of an initial public offering (IPO). In four episodes, serial tech entrepreneur Patrick Grove discusses how to ready a company for IPO, what you need to do before ringing the IPO bell, and what the future holds for Southeast Asia’s tech and startup scene.
Check out Unlocked: Patrick Grove on How to IPO a Company to hear what he has to say. The first episode is open to all, but if you want to watch the full series, I’d strongly recommend hitting that subscribe button. 😉
You can find all other important investment deals that happened in the last few days in our weekly funding news wrap-up.

Let’s dive into the biggest deals and M&As that recently took place.
