Standard Chartered Bank has launched the 2012 Mobile Ventures Fellowship (MoVe) program in partnership with the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore’s (IDA) Company-Led Training (CLT) Programme.
Through this program, Standard Chartered will offer year-long MoVe fellowships to 10 talented software engineers where they will be embedded within the Bank’s multi-award winning global mobile banking team in Singapore, gain practical experience in payments, secure gateways and social integration, and discover more about the consumer banking and financial services industry.

MoVe Fellows will spend a year working directly with the team behind the award-winning Breeze mobile banking, which is available in 5 markets on over 700 devices. The Breeze suite includes secure payments, location-based deal finders, augmented reality and social integration.
The Fellowship will provide both formal and practical training in technology development, consumer banking, agile and scrum methodologies, software testing and financial regulations compliance.
Fellowship alumni will have higher consideration for opportunities within the bank as well as exposure to the many partners we work with – companies like Google, IBM, Adobe, etc.
