SoybeanSoft Reveals Screenshots of Upcoming Game, Shares Some of Its Plans

SoybeanSoft has just received investment from East Ventures and has also revealed that a new game will be coming out this month. The game, entitled Hunter Story, as described by Guntur Sarwohadi, the co-founder of SoybeanSoft, will include elements of “RPG, social gaming, and 3D graphics.”

We got very curious and dug deeper to find out more. Thankfully Sarwohadi was spontaneous enough to send us some screenshots (see below). They look pretty but Sarwohadi did warn us that these screenshots are still at a very early stage, and things could still change if their designers feel the need.

So what’s Hunter Story all about? It’s sort of like World of Warcraft on Facebook. As a user all you have to do is be the best hunter in town – kill monsters, gain loot and experience, buy/forge better weapons, and level up – in classic RPG style. And because of its social elements, Hunter Story allows gamers to battle (PK) with other gamers in an Arena.

You can also team up with friends to form a party to take on tougher quests. And because it serves primarily the Indonesian market, Sarwohadi also told me that customization will also be available as they plan to include local themes and styles.
