SoftBank-backed analytics firm Patsnap plans dual listing in HK, SG

SoftBank Group Corp.-backed Patsnap, an intellectual-property data provider, is considering a dual listing in Hong Kong and Singapore, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The company aims to raise between US$300 million and US$400 million through the share sales, though details such as listing size, timing, and exact venues are still being discussed.

If the plan proceeds, it could support Hong Kong’s efforts to attract more non-Chinese companies, amid a surge in initial public offerings in Singapore in 2025, which reached a six-year high.

Founded in 2007, Patsnap provides data and analytics on intellectual property and works with over 15,000 companies. Its backers include HongShan Capital Ltd. (formerly Sequoia China), SoftBank Group Corp., and Tencent Holdings Ltd.
