Insurtech unicorn Bolttech hires ex-AIG executive
Singapore insurtech unicorn Bolttech has appointed insurance veteran Rob Bauer to serve as its group chief managing general agent (MGA) officer.
Experience:
- Most recently, Bauer served as managing director and head of the sharing economy and mobility group at Marsh, a US-headquartered insurance broker and risk advisor.
- He was also the global head and innovation and the sharing economy at American International Group (AIG).
More details:
- In his new role, Bauer will take charge of Bolttech’s MGA strategy and capabilities globally, including the firm’s commercial structure, partnerships, and distribution.
- The appointment comes after the company extended its series A round to raise a total of US$210 million.
