The company’s entry comes with the launch of NCS Next, which will offer a suite of services aimed at helping enterprises with their digital transformation initiatives and adoption of cloud technology, according to a statement.
“Australia’s adoption of technology has accelerated in recent years with a large addressable market, and we see tremendous opportunities for enterprises and government organizations to further harness digital and cloud technologies for innovation,” said NCS head chief Ng Kuo Pin.
Citing data from Research and Markets, the company said that the global digital transformation market is expected to reach US$1.4 trillion by 2027. NCS also said that in Australia, the public cloud market is projected to be worth US$11 billion by 2023.
The company said NCS Next plans to progressively expand its suite of digital services to include data analytics, artificial intelligence, and mobility. It also aims to grow its workforce in Australia in the next two years and build a team of practice leads as it onboards more clients.
“Given the tremendous pace at which enterprise clients are adopting digital-first innovations, we feel the timing is right to bring this partnership to the market and we look forward to working with NCS to continue this expansion,” said Optus Enterprise managing director Chris Mitchell.
