Y Combinator-backed inFeedo bags $3.2m in round led by ex-Google, Facebook exec
India-based inFeedo, a software-as-a-service-based people analytics startup, announced that it has raised US$3.2 million in a funding round led by Bling Capital’s founder Benjamin Ling. He was the general partner at Khosla Ventures and an executive at Google, YouTube, and Facebook.

Former managing director at Citigroup Global Markets Simon Yoo, Oyo chief strategy officer Maninder Gulati, SoftBank’s Munish Varma, and Freshworks founder Girish Mathrubootham also participated in the round.
Founded in 2013, inFeedo runs an employee experience bot named Amber, which can chat with employees, analyze their sentiment, and find those who are unhappy or are likely to leave.
The company claims that it has been cash flow-positive and has 300,000 users across more than 50 countries. Its customers include enterprises like Tata Group, GE Healthcare, Lenovo, Airtel, Puma, Oyo, and Byju’s, among others.
With the new funds, it is looking to hire talent for leadership roles across engineering, product, and marketing teams, expand its customer base in Asia Pacific, and achieve US$10 million in revenue, according to a statement.
Moving forward, it intends to integrate “generative pre-trained transformer 3,” a language model that uses deep learning to produce human-like text, into its chatbot technology. With this, its chatbot can have deeper conversations with employees and empower human resources with data to improve performance and engagement.
Earlier this year, inFeedo raised US$700,000 in a round from Y Combinator, Innov8 founder Ritesh Malik, and Lenskart CEO Peyush Bansal, among others.
