Singapore edtech firm for executives raises ‘six-figure’ angel funding
C-suite, an edtech platform for executives, has secured a “six-figure” seed funding from angel investors including Don Tsai, the company’s co-founder and chief operating officer.

The Singapore-based firm provides executives and professionals an exclusive community hub where users can get access to virtual gatherings, real-world conferences, and other learning opportunities through its paid application.
The company has five tiers of membership: professional, all-star, titan, enterprise, and investor. Subscription for these packages range between US$20 to US$175 per month.
Additionally, C-suite plans to introduce jobs, marketplace, and concierge services on its platform. It will also roll out a mobile app in 2021, the company said in a statement.
“Even if you are lucky enough to receive in-house leadership training, complete an MBA or EMBA, and participate in higher-level business education – it is clear the learning journey shouldn’t stop there […] Hopefully the C-suite community can play its small part in helping make members, their companies and their teams better,” said C-suite CEO and co-founder Dean Carroll.
Founded this year, the edtech platform claims to have gained nearly 200 high-profile members in its first two weeks of operations. It currently has a team of six is spread across Singapore, Indonesia, and Hungary.
Meanwhile, research firm HolonIQ says that Southeast Asia’s edtech space has received nearly US$480 million of venture capital funding through over 200 individual investments in the last five years. Global expenditure in this market is expected to hit US$404 billion by 2025.
