Singapore VC Accelerating Asia targets $20m for second fund
Singapore-based accelerator and venture capital fund Accelerating Asia has rolled out its second fund to a wider investor community.

- Accelerating Asia’s second fund will begin deploying capital in 2021.
- It will focus on seed to pre-series A investments in startups across Southeast Asia and South Asia.
- Within two years of closing its first fund, Accelerating Asia has invested in 36 startups – such as Drive Lah, Hellotask, and HandyMama – across 10 markets and 20 verticals.
- The team has also pledged to contribute 1% of the general partners’ carried interest to solving development problems across the region.
