Lightspeed leads $35m round of Indonesian cryptocurrency exchange
Pintu, an Indonesia-based crypto asset exchange, announced it has raised US$35 million in its latest funding round.

- The company plans to use the fresh funds to hire new talent across all functions, create strategic partnerships, launch education campaigns, roll out new products and features, and expand to other asset classes.
- Pintu, which currently offers trades on 16 cryptocurrencies on its platform, says that its number of active traders grew 4x in the first half of this year.

It is also in the process of launching a new feature called Pintu Earn, which lets users automatically earn interest on a variety of crypto assets.
