Prosus has marked down Byju’s valuation to below US$3 billion – a huge reduction from the US$22 billion valuation seen in early 2022.

The investment firm, which owns more than 9% of Byju’s, has made adjustments to the edtech giant’s valuation over the past year. Earlier this year, Prosus cut Byju’s valuation to US$5.1 billion.
