Ernie Bot, Baidu’s AI chatbot, has secured over 100 million users, according to the company’s CTO Wang Haifeng.

The chatbot was unveiled in March but only fully available to the public in August. It has emerged as a leader among Chinese chatbots despite being ranked lower in performance than rival ChatGPT.
