GrabWheels launches scooter subscription for food deliveries

GrabWheels, the scooter-sharing service of ride-hailing giant Grab, has launched a subscription plan for its food delivery partners in Singapore.

Under the plan, partners will get unlimited rides on GrabWheels’ e-scooters. The scooters can be picked up at close to 30 locations across Singapore for S$75 (US$55.05) per month, the company said in a statement.

“We have seen an increasing number of food delivery service partners who utilize e-scooters as their primary mode of transport,” Chris Yeo, head of Grab Ventures, said. “Many of our GrabFood delivery partners were also interested in a solution that allows them to just focus on their job to deliver food, without having to worry about the cost of purchasing and maintaining a device, as well as its battery life. We thought this is where GrabWheels can help.”

Users can sign up for the subscription on the GrabWheels beta app.
