Singapore-based travel startup Laters.com has raised US$1.5 million in a seed round led by XBO Ventures, the investment arm of digital-asset platform XBO.com. The round also drew angel investors like Dor Isseroff, COO of livestreaming platform Tango.me.

Laters.com, previously known as Fly Fairly, said the new capital will support the expansion of its existing travel business and its new products and verticals. Some of the firm’s planned business lines will extend beyond flights, although the company has not disclosed further details.

Laters.com founder and CEO Alex Yardley told Tech in Asia that the firm has recorded a net profit every month since February 2025, based on management accounts.

Laters.com is an online travel agency targeting the millennial and Gen Z segments. Customers can book flights across more than 650 airlines and pay using over 100 payment methods. These include digital wallets, stablecoins, and cryptocurrencies, as well as around 40 buy now, pay later and installment platforms, which let customers spread the cost of their flights over time.

A majority of its payment volume comes from customers paying via non-card methods, which isn’t usual in the online travel space, the firm said.

According to the company, crypto customers spend more than twice as much as the average customer, typically on long-haul trips and more premium cabin classes.

“Millennial and Gen Z travelers have spent a decade adapting to a booking experience built for their parents,” said Yardley. “We built Laters.com around how this generation actually pays, and it turns out what we built works well beyond flights.”

Laters.com earns a margin from fares and ancillary services like seat selection and cancellation protection, rather than charging a booking fee.

The company, which was launched in August 2024, now counts the US as its largest market.
