Snapdeal beats Amazon, Flipkart on delivery time promise: report

A recent study conducted by auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) said Snapdeal consistently takes the least delivery time across India, beating rivals Amazon and Flipkart not only in metros, but also in smaller towns and cities.

PwC said it picked major categories that contribute 70-80 percent of sales at each ecommerce company – like electronics, and apparel – and took a sample of 119 zip codes across the country to conduct the survey.

Snapdeal scored the least (meaning, it took the least time) across categories, including electronics, apparel, general merchandise, and consumer goods.

According to the study, Snapdeal takes about five days to deliver in big cities, while Amazon and Flipkart take around six to seven days.

For smaller towns, Snapdeal promises delivery in six days, Amazon promises delivery in seven or eight days, and Flipkart in around eight or nine.
