Singapore: Logitech is hosting a free-play game day at Colosseum this Friday

What sort of gaming event is held on a weekday and runs during office hours? Seeing how it’s the March school holiday in Singapore right now, probably one that’s targeting students.

On March 21, 2014, this Friday, Logitech is opening up the Colosseum cyber cafe in Bugis+ from 12:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. There will be a 5v5 Dota 2 tournament, free LAN gaming sessions, as well as free play on game stations that will run, among other unspecified games, the classic Donkey Kong arcade game.

The event will have the Logitech PowerShell controller on display, so if you’ve been thinking of buying one, that’s a good opportunity to try before you do. According to Logitech, the point of this mini gaming fair is to bring gamers together and to promote gaming culture, so expect it to be casual, fun, and to also have loads of freebies.

Apart from prizes given out for the Dota 2 tournament, you can also expect to walk away with Logitech gaming gear ranging from keyboards to headsets simply by playing the game stations.
