German shipping company Schulte Group sets up investment arm

Schulte Group has launched Innoport, its new venture capital arm that will invest mainly in early-stage maritime and logistics startups in Europe and Asia.

The company did not specify the amount of capital the VC unit will manage.

Yiannis Sykas, director of strategy and product development at Schulte’s ship management business, will lead the Innoport team.
