Singapore’s The Scale Factory appoints former Accenture exec as partner

The Scale Factory, a Singapore-based growth consultancy firm that helps tech companies grow in Asia, said it has appointed former Accenture executive Robert Jessing as its new partner.

Jessing will work on developing The Scale Factory’s relationships with corporations and companies that are looking to expand their businesses.

“This is a task he is imminently well suited for, having spearheaded the digital transformation across many industries including smart cities, logistics, and industrials over the last 15 years,” said founder Lars Bjorge.

Prior to The Scale Factory, Jessing served as the principal director of strategy at Accenture for over eight years. He was also a board member of both Add-Maritime and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.

Currently, he is the commercial head at Skuad, a Singapore-based firm that helps companies build remote teams.

“Southeast Asia is one of the regions in the world that truly matters for scale-ups in building their growth footprint,” Bjorge added. He also highlighted that tech firms in the region have increasingly focused on expanding their businesses to Europe and the US.

The Scale Factory helps firms plan for expansion by building a system of sales and marketing initiatives supported by tech and networking efforts. It also helps clients with strategic projects and commercial organization in Asia.
