Salesforce Ventures leads $6.7m round in content creation firm backed by Sequoia
Hashnode, a developer blogging platform, announced that it has raised US$6.7 million in its latest round of funding.

- The fresh funds will go toward widening Hashnode’s user base by way of improving its services for content related to software development, technology, and engineering.
- Hashnode says its monthly base has grown from 100,000 to 1 million active users in the past year. It currently hosts 60,000 active blogs.
- The platform allows people to publish articles in a familiar domain. It also fosters a community of developers who can interact via reactions, comments, and bookmarks, among other functionalities.
- In December 2020, the startup raised US$2.1 million in a financing round led by Sequoia Capital India’s Surge.
- It was part of the fourth cohort of 17 early-stage startups selected for funding by Sequoia India’s Surge, an accelerator program that focuses on Southeast Asia and India.
