Ragnarok Online 2 SEA is one year old, and wants to celebrate its birthday with you

Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of the Second (RO2) for Southeast Asia – also the world’s first English language service for the game – is one year old! And it marks its first anniversary with the ‘Advent of Valkyrie’ content update, which adds, among many other things, the Master Level system to the game.

Like character job levels, Master levels will run parallel to character levels. Even though the level cap remains the same at 50, Master levels will let players run more quests, make use of more items and, for Crafters, even give them more recipes. Each Master level increase also gives characters more stats and skills to allocate, and allows for players to customize their equipment in countless ways. It’s basically a whole new dimension to the game, much like Diablo III’s Paragon system.

In-game updates aside, Asiasoft is also holding a raffle for an Aftershock gaming laptop. All players have to do is log into the game from now until February 6 to qualify. Joining the Grand Master Race in-game activity can also win you a Razer Black Widow mechanical keyboard, so get cracking! Unfortunately the raffle prizes can only be collected in Singapore, so unless you’re willing to fly down to pick it up, it’s best participated in by Singapore residents.
