Singapore IT services firm acquires majority stake in US staffing company
Kris Infotech, an information technology consulting and advisory services company based in Singapore, has acquired a 60% stake in AGS Tek Partners, a US-headquartered software and staffing firm.

The deal will help Kris Infotech expand its services into the US and across North America, said Reem D’Souza, the company’s head of business strategy and investor relations.
To aid its plans, Kris Infotech has appointed IT industry veteran Barani Kumaresan as senior vice president. He will be responsible for all operational decisions at AGS Tek Partners.
Founded in 2006, Kris Infotech provides data management and artificial intelligence solutions, blockchain and robotic process automation, and cybersecurity services, among others. The company also offers professional services in IT contracting, executive hiring, permanent placements, and recruitment outsourcing.
Meanwhile, AGS Tek Partners specializes in on-demand technology consulting, software training services, and technology resourcing, which includes on-site staffing as well as permanent placements.

Currently, Kris Infotech employs over 150 professionals in its operations across Singapore, Malaysia, India, Thailand, and the US, with customers in Vietnam, the Philippines, and Australia. The company is also set to begin operations at its new offices in Vietnam and Indonesia in the fourth quarter of 2021.
