Razer is set to become a sponsor for this year’s Insomnia 2014 gaming festivals. Festival organizer Multiplay announced that the gaming peripheral brand will serve as official tournament sponsor for all League of Legends competitions at Insomnia festivals this year.
The partnership will guarantee some of the largest League of Legends prize pools in the UK.
“Partnering up with Multiplay on an event series such as Insomnia was a natural decision for us based on our common interest in eSports and the success of last year’s Insomnia Festivals,” said Min-Liang Tan, co-founder, CEO and creative director of Razer.
The Insomnia Festival is the UK’s biggest games festival series and runs three events a year.
