Razer adds external cloud save function to Game Booster software

Razer recently released a feature for their Game Booster program that allows you to save your games to an external cloud service.

According to a press release, the beta stage of the Saved Game Manager allows you to transfer locally saved games to your Dropbox account. Access to other cloud storage services will be made available once the program goes live, though Razer has not dated this just yet.

Razer is really beefing up its Game Booster software and seem to be aiming to be a big part of the gamer community, aside from already inundating them with peripherals. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re planning to integrate Razer Comms, Razer Synapse and the Game Booster into one big social networking platform sometime in the future, because that is one opportunity that has been rarely tapped into. There is only a handful of similar software right now, the most notable one being Raptr.

We’ll update you as soon as we get news about the saved game manager feature so stay tuned!
