Qeeple is for People Who Want To ‘Qeep’ Interior Design Ideas

I personally adore beautifully-designed interiors. After a full-day battle at work, the thought of retreating into a pretty space and relax sounds pretty orgasmic. But let me caution you, interior design planning is no easy feat, and I’m sure many who have gone through interior design planning would agree. So here’s a solution for you guys: qeeple.

Qeeple offers you the platform to “drag and drop” the designs you fancy as you browse through the interior designs library within its website. In co-founder Norman Leong’s words:

At qeeple, first and foremost, we offer homeowners inspiration and ideas, from designers, merchants, as well as other users. Homeowners can then create your own qeepbook from these resources to manage and highlight your own thoughts, ideas, references, and individual products. Doing up your own place should be a much more enjoyable process than it traditionally is.

Qeeple is rather easy to use and signing into their service is seamless. You can choose to sign in using your Facebook, Google, or your email. There will be then a three-step guide on how to use the application. If you see a design within the website that is attractive and would like to keep the images, all you need to do is drag, drop, and you get to “qeep” them in your own qeepbook. There are also categories where you can classify your pictures into and even add comments right next to the pictures.

The service reminds us very much of like a Pinterest catered for interior designs, but co-founder Ashley Choo told us that their mechanism works around the idea of “drag and drop” while Pinterest is to “repin.” They were not inspired by Pinterest though. In fact, they were motivated by how homeowners would have cut-outs of home furnishing magazines and keeping them in folders while doing their research, and the team thought of the brilliant idea of bringing this idea online.

Qeeple aims make interior design planning a much easier job. In Ashley’s words:

The content on qeeple is very localized and we’re constantly looking into ways to help matchmake designers, furnishing merchants and homeowners. For example, we recently launched GET QUOTE which helps homeowners communicate with designers about the type of designs and styles they prefer with their kept images. Through our interactions with designers, we also realised what helped one designer stood out from another was their level of questioning and research about their client. But clients hate questionnaires and surveys. So we figured a good and quick way to help with this research process is to for clients to share their Facebook profile/ favourites page with the designer they’re working with.
