Putter King for iPad was just released yesterday. The game was designed by the Tokyo-based mini-golf company of the same name, with development and final artwork completed by Tasty Poison of South Africa. I gave the game a quick run-through, despite all my past mini-golf experiences.
The game features 24 holes that you can play, with three more holes coming as a future update after Putter King’s hole design contest. I enjoyed the Japan-themed holes, particularly the sumo arena and the conveyor belt sushi course. On the other hand, the Imperial Palace course left me fuming — I don’t really want to talk about that one, it was very traumatic…
