There has not been many articles in SG Entrepreneurs but a lot of site improvements are happening in the background for the past few days. The founders are currently mapping out our strategic direction and we have heard from our resident contributors, laying out new projects that you can take part. Before we make some new announcements in the coming week, we want to share with you our achievements in the past few months, particularly, with our ranking in Technorati favourites. In this thread, we like to hear some feedback from our readers what they are interested to see in our blog.
Over the year, we have been featured in the following places:
- Quality Content: We have done our best to bring you quality content. We will also focus on some new areas which we want to explore more.
- SG Entrepreneurs is currently oscillating between 71 and 75 Technorati Top 100 favourites: Of course, we did not manage to do that without the people who supported us in our project. We are aspiring to reach the top 50 in the coming month. If you have not voted yet, please register at Technorati and click on add us to your favourites in the sidebar. If you have started a blog, do link to us and we will immediately link you as well. We have added some new sites to our links list. Please bring it to our attention if we have added you. Your support can put us on the world map.
- Global Recognition: We have recently been listed as top resources for entrepreneurship and venture capital along with Guy Kawasaki and other prominent entrepreneurship blogs in lifehack.org. We are still breaking new ground to provide entrepreneurial education and also relating it to our homebase, the Singaporean entrepreneurs based here and overseas.
- Coverage from MSM: We are featured in a Straits Times as an information resource for young entrepreneurs to start up their business. The article is “Ways to Jump-start your own startup”, 15 May 2006. We have just received the hard copy of this article from ST and we will put it up soon for you to look at. We have also previously been featured in Business Visitor Magazine in Jan 2006 this year as one of the business blogs.
- SG Entrepreneurs Wiki: There has been a mention of this many times. We have finally put up the alpha prototype. In a few weeks time, we will announce the launch. We aim to be the best business resource.
- New Partners for SG Entrepreneurs: If you are a non-profit entrepreneurial organization that aims to promote the spirit of enterprise, we are happy to form partnerships with you. Do check out our current partners here. Please email us and we can take the discussion further.
Now it’s time for you to give us your comments on what kind of content, what new changes and what ideas you might have that can add new value to us.
Have a good day.
yours sincerely,
the founders of SG Entrepreneurs.
