Hello reader,
Sometimes, when one reads about all the big money moving around in the tech world, it’s easy to get caught up in the tech and its industry-specific impacts – what a new breakthrough in AI might mean for the internal work processes of robotics companies, and so on.
That’s all very important – don’t get me wrong. But sometimes, it pays to take a step back and see what the point of all this work is. In the end, it always has to be about helping people live better and easier lives.
By the way, I’m being quite literal when I say that it pays – Spinny, One Championship, and PeopleFund are three companies with consumer-facing products and platforms that closed big funding rounds this week.
Keep trying to help people and you can’t go wrong, methinks.
