Potentialpark Acquires iHipo

iHipo logoSingapore-based international careers site for students and young professionals, iHipo has been acquired by Stockholm-based Employer Branding & Recruitment Communication Group Potentialpark. (Disclosure: Bernard and myself are investors in iHipo.)

The combined company (including a Potentialpark portfolio website “Entrypark”) offers holistic recruitment marketing and employer branding and offers a wide range of online and offline services in Employer Branding and Recruitment Communication worldwide.

Both iHipo and Entrypark will continue running separately.

iHipo will remain as a self-contained jobsite and social network for international students, graduates and young professionals seeking opportunities in US, Europe and Asia. Entrypark will continue targeting career seekers via strong university relationships, both online, on-campus and print. Through Entrypark’s online platform, students can easily find information about top employers, career opportunities and also get guidance for their future careers.

To find out more about the guys behind iHipo, check out our interview with Arnout Wagenaar, Patrick Linden and Heng Cheng King back in 2007.
