Singaporean celebrity JJ Lin has teamed up with Kiat Lim and Elroy Cheo to create ARC, a digital non-fungible token community, Forbes reported.
Lim is the son of Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim, and Cheo is a descendant of the family that owns edible oils firm Mewah International.
ARC plans on forming a group of partners to further legitimize the crypto world. The company’s intensive membership process requires an applicant to fill out a form on its website and own ARC’s native token, Pyxis, as well as its proprietary NFT after joining the whitelist. Additionally, users must verify their profile on the ARC app, where NFTs can be used for authentication.
The company believes it will attract venture capitalists, social influencers, and entrepreneurs, who can all post and communicate in the network. These posts will follow a “Twitter-Reddit” hybrid format.
Members will also be able to access exclusive venues dubbed “playgrounds.”
