Super Smash Brothers is getting a classic new fighter straight out of everyone’s favorite old-school boxing game Punch Out.
To kick off today’s Nintendo Direct, we got to see a trailer that showed off Punch Out’s Mac training for his big debut in the new Super Smash Brothers. After a couple of rounds with the punching bag we got to see him duke it out with a couple of the Smash Bros characters including the trainer from Wii Fit.
This Mac is based on the Punch Out remake for the Wii, and features a clean, cell-shaded look. Mac is going to be a perfect fit in the Smash Bros universe, and I can already tell he’s going to be one of my top picks when I play.
The new Super Smash Brothers will be out later this year for both the 3DS and Wii U.
