Ask TIA: We’re starting a Southeast Asian founder’s soccer league. Wanna join?

Dear beloved Founders & Founders!

Vietnam Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam just helped Vietnam’s startup community to found a national soccer team for startup founders. What makes them so unique is all team members must be founders and founders ONLY coming from outstanding Vietnamese Startups.

So I am thinking why we don’t just create a soccer league among Southeast Asian countries?

Look at the benefit we can bring to your startup ecosystem!!!

1. A founder from each country can learn from founders of the country they come to play with. If a team commits to the first leg, they will have to commit to the second leg in an away-match.
2. Sports are a great way to get press coverage and expose your App/Website to the world. Our players won’t have any number on their T-shirt, but Startup Name & Brand. Only 1 Co-founder per qualified startup and we will have 30 startups in a Match.
3. All investor/VC mentors will be invited to watch the match. And the live commentator can do the startup introduction during that 90 minutes.
4. Many Southeast Asia countries are very close and no visa is required. Air ticket and hotel are very affordable too. It’s pretty easy to get about $15k-20k funding for the whole team to travel to have a friendly match with the home team. Stadium should be provided by home team.
