REKA Health Receives $4 Million From Tembusu Partners

e100Singapore-based REKA Health just received $4 million in fresh funds from Tembusu Partners, we learned today.

The health technology company provides mobile technology solutions that enable the remote monitoring of chronic disease patients. For example, REKA produces a mobile internet-connected blood pressure monitor device (P500) that allows personalized blood pressure readings based on the user’s identity. More mobile solutions for the health industry are still to come, as CEO of REKA Health hinted in the statement:

“I believe the synergies between REKA Health and Tembusu Partners will allow us to expedite and realize our vision of improving healthcare efficiencies and reduce healthcare costs with our proprietary mobile healthcare technology solutions. […] After the blood pressure monitor we introduced last year, we will continue to innovate to address needs from mobile health market.”

The funding will also help REKA Health expand to other giant nations like China and India. So far, REKA has offices in Singapore, the Netherlands, and the US. There aren’t many health-related tech startups in Asia. The last one I recall is Dr. Pad, a Taiwan-based startup that gives doctors easy access to medical data on the go, which was one of the startups in our Startup Arena competition at Startup Asia Singapore.
