9 Philippine startups that raised follow-on funding (INFOGRAPHIC)

As Tech in Asia’s Manila-based editor, I’ve often been asked to describe the startup ecosystem in the Philippines.
My simple answer: it’s still in very early stages, but definitely growing.
Most of the startups in the country are in the seed stage, while only a few have made their exits. By 2018, the ecosystem’s stakeholders aim to have more startups in the series A stage, and in the long run the goal is to produce a unicorn (well, of course).
We sure have a long way to go, judging by the handful of Philippine startups that have raised follow-on funding on record. Here’s a list.
